Who proposes it?
Business Faculty in co-operation with The Association of Romanian Consulting Companies.
Why consulting services?
• Consultancy is a vital activity in projects regarding the reorganization and development of the companies;
• Consultancy is a complex process that takes place when somebody has a problem or faces a difficulty and asks for help to a specialized person – The Consultant;
• Consultancy may be seen as a method to offer help in the context of an activity, but also as a professional service;
• Consultancy helps organizations to meet any requirements come from their customers, state or independent organism;
• Consultancy assures a rapid and easy understanding of the international standards, so that permits the alignment of the organization to these standards;
• Consultancy must bring, in time, to the development of an organizational culture regarding quality, environment, customer care, work and information security;
• Consultancy is an activity that will meet a large growth in the future, this program offering chances to the students to analyze career options for the future.
Who is ACCR?
ACCR - The Association of Romanian Consulting Companies is a non-governmental organization, founded in Cluj-Napoca by Romanian and foreign companies that activate in consultancy branch.
The goal of ACCR is a professional and a social one that consists of promoting and sustaining the commercial societies and the authorized persons, which offer consultancy in business and protect the specific rights and interests in the country and abroad.
Among the important objectives of ACCR, there are:
1. Getting together the commercial societies and the authorized persons in the consulting activity field;
2. Improving the image of the consultant;
3. International co-operation with organizations that have the same activity field;
4. Adopting and sustaining professional standards in consulting branch;
5. Applying the < Ethic Code > of the business consultant;
6. Analyzing the specialized knowledge and preparing the business consultants;
7. Co-operating to the settlement activity in the business consultancy field and emitting recommendations.
Whom is this program addressed to?
It addresses to the students from Business Faculty, both at license and master level. They will have the opportunity to gain work experience with member companies of ACCR, which participate to this program, in varied domains, according to main and specialized courses studied over the years

Proceeding
According to the course that students apply for, they will attend this continuous internship program, during the academic year and on vacations, by rotation, at one or more of the member companies.
This way, they will have the opportunity to actually work in responsible departments, with specialists, a few hours a week, conjunctly established by the companies and students. The students will practice the knowledge that they had built up during Faculty and will learn, by practice, what does a job in consultancy branch mean and which are the required skills of a good consultant. They will also attend the meetings of ACCR, exchanging opinions with the other mates and specialists involved in this program.
Participants’ Selection
Selection of the students will be made based on an application form and a letter of intent. Application forms can be downloaded both from the Business Faculty site www.tbs.ubbcluj.ro and ACCR’s, www.accromania.ro . Letters of intent and application forms, electronic written, will be sent to Mr. Valentin Toader (valentin.toader@tbs.ubbcluj.ro).
Registering will take place during the period: 27.10.2008 - 07.11.2008.
Evaluation
At the end of each semester, students will be evaluated by the companies, based on criteria previous established by ACCR and by University Professors from Business Faculty. Based on these evaluations, they will receive recommendations from the companies and professors, which will help them to integrate in the work environment, after or even before graduating the University. Students who will prove to have exceptional skills will have the opportunity to receive hiring offers from the companies where they have attended the internship program

• 21 June 2007 - ACCR was invited by the International Organism of Certification CERMET East-Europe to participate to two Workshops that took place at Timişoara and Braşov in 19 and 20 of June, this year. The President of the Association, Mrs. Ana-Maria Lupoian pointed out to the present consulting companies, the importance of associating to ACCR, which brings out the image improvement of the consulting companies on the Romanian market and the possibility of making partnerships between them. In Timisoara took place the first discussions about opening a branch office in this area.
• The Board of Directors, established in the meeting from 10 of July 2007, the vacation of the Board to be in 5 August - 15 September. In this period there will not take place the weekly meetings of the Board.
